Look what I made!

When I returned to work last week, I was sad to see my crayon wreath on my door had been destroyed. I was bummed, but then excited that I could make something new to decorate my classroom door. So I made this!

Isn't my classroom door so ugly?? I was inspired to make this wreath from Pintrest (of course)! I bought a straw wreath form from Joann Fabrics. It was around $2.00. Then I wrapped the entire wreath in this soft yarn made for babies. This step took some time. Then I cut the flowers from felt using this tutorial. Here is a close up of the flowers.

Oh my goodness, I cannot tell you how many times I burnt my fingers! Ouch! Overall, I think it adds some cheer to my door. I am thinking of adding some bunting across the wreath, we'll see. The students sure like it!
